feg pa63
Just picked up a Hungarian PA63 in 9X18 Mak. Nice little pistol, shoots fine, but has a very heavy double action trigger pull. Single action pull is OK. Does anyone know a cure for this?

Nice pistols. Light, reliable. I have 2 9mm Makarov and 1 .380. They are a good buy in the $100 range. 0 -
well actually i have had a lot of trouble with mine but it was nothing a new spring set and ramp/slide polishing couldn't fix.... guess I just got the bottom of the barrel as I hear nothing but good stuff about them.

The design of the backstrap gave it the hardest 'feeling' recoil of most that size, at least to me. I can't think of any $100 gun that would be a better value for the money.

Got one for the ol lady to carry in the dash being she works 2nd shift most of the time. Good little shooter but can be made into a really good shooter if you spend a few bucks. For the money you cannot beat them.

Good gun, good caliber, harsh recoil[;)]

Good value for the money. Have had several, and most were good. Trigger tends to be a little a hard pull, but I wouldn't hesitate to buy another. Good round for the size of the gun. About as much "omph" as you are going to get from a small frame handgun. 0 -
Good pistols for the $$$
Usually 9x18 "Tweener" caliber (between 380 and 9 luger)
Ammo is cheap and the trigger can be eased up some.

I didn't know they were $100 guns. I paid $150, with correct mags and original holster, and thought I got a good deal. Accurate as heck. First time out, point and shoot @ 15 yards, right on target. 0 -
Most of the guys here quote wholesale prices on stuff. Generally you have to consider dealer's transfer cost, or if you buy one outright, their inventory and holding expenses. You could probably have ordered one through a dealer and had him transfer it to you in the range of $130 or a bit more, considering shipping and reasonable transfer fees. $150 is not so bad for walking into a shop and picking it out.
I have a friend who is a dealer, he gets pretty sick of people quoting dealer's prices from trade publications as "retail". People buy mags like Shotgun News and expect dealers to sell them firearms for those prices! Dealers would go broke doing that. The prices listed from most distributors are wholesale prices, less shipping, and not retail.
