Beretta Semi 12g Worth Buying????

The local pawn shop has a AL3 Beretta 12g Semi-Auto for sale 30 inch barrel vent rib 2 3/4 shells only. For $145.00 but (there always has to be one) it HAD a full choke on the barrel somepne shot something out of it and bulged the end of the barrel so the barrel needs cut down at least 4 inches and rechoked not worried about that might even cut it down to 18.5 inches for a grouse gun. The action works and looks good stock and forearm are in good shape bluing on reciver is 80% IS IT WORTH THE 150?

  my book lists them in the condition you described at around $325 now consider the cost to fix the barrel damage into the price,you most likely won't get more than your money back in resale but if your intention is to keep it then i'd say you'd have a pretty nice gun for the money. good luck what ever way you go TIM
