Winchester 94 ; date of manufacture ??

    In that order

    For future reference,just remember,
    1964 mod 94's started w/2,700,000.
    In other words,any serial # less than that is Pre-64.

    Bert, is this correct? This states that serial# 3688209 was manufactured in 1971. In a post in 2011 you stated serial # 3593614 was manufactured in 1972. What gives? Thanks! PS: Still wainting for your reply to my post about serial # 3629314! Gunswapper.

    Your Model 94 was manufactured in late 1972.

    i once was told it was made in 1937AD ??

    As Trap55 mentioned, 1941 (late March). As such, it should also have a "W" stamped on the bottom of the receiver frame below the serial number.

    What caliber is it? Does the leading "1" digit look like an "L"?
