I got a shotgun from my uncle and I cannot find out anything about on the internet. It is a Harrington & Richardson model 348 Gamester. It is a bolt-action 12 gauge. If you know anything about it please post.

Would guess about $100 or so.

Rockford's being real nice. The simple truth is that a B/A scattergun ties dead last with most singles for the bottom of the heap. B/A's are really singles that are easy to reload.

I give a standard $35.00 as the value of a single and I'll do the same for your gun. Understand that you might be able to get more on any given day. Then again, on most days it'll be a challenge to sell the piece at the price I've quoted.

Somewhat regional I expect, but these guns are only worth whatever value an owner places on tossing a load of shot.

H&R 348 /349 bolt action shotguns where in 12 and 16 gauge , 3 shot tubemag. and 28" barrel, the model 349 had a adjustable choke , book value is around $100 in very good condition

Again... The "BOOK" is one thing and the real world is another. I quote a wholesale value (one that you might expect a dealer to pay).

Put $100.00 on that gun and it'll stay on the rack for the rest of time. Pay $100.00 for that when you can buy a perfectly good Mossberg pump for $25.00 more? I don't think so!

Ya never know... I sold an old Mossberg bolt 20 gauge with a detachable mag and poly choke for $75 to a co-worker (that's what he offered) only 2 days after I bought it from a guy at a gun shop for $30 because that's all the gun shop was gonna give. I was gonna shoot it but when I can get 2.5 times what I paid for it within just a few days I'll take it!
Realistically, that ain't gonna happen though. Nord probably has a point - why pay $100 when you can have a pump for not much more. I'd personally rather have a break-open single than I would a bolt. Anyway, I'd say $50 would be fair...

well for the last several years I've been helping a local dealer do about 3or 4 gun showes ayear , at just about every show he has at least 1 bolt action shot gun that he sells and he always gets more than 100 bucks for them, so maybe its just in this area they sell ok , who knows , maybe in your area you can't give them away , thats just the way it is
