yep ,they ruined it by putting a external extractor on it
and they went and screwed it up ,i can deal with the rail but not the extractor ,the front of the slide is unique ,like their mark ,i can even live with that ,it will set you back close to a grand

This is actually said to be really quite good. My only gripe is they were too darn cheap to put an ambi safety on it.
This will be a crowded 1911 field in another couple of weeks with the new Paras as well as the Unertls and everyone else who is bringing out new models. Almost a hundred years and now they finally realize just how good the overall Browning design really is. Even if they think they've actually improved upon it--something that will probably take another century to verify what really does improve the gun in practice.
