Choke tubes
A friend has asked me whether the choke tubes for the new line of Stoeger Condors are interchangeable with any other manufacturer's tubes. Told him I don't know, but maybe you fellers would.
TIA for any answers.

I have a Remington 870 EXP pump shotgun with a 3 1/2" chamber. I would like some advice on what is the best choke tube and shells for turkey hunting with this gun?
Thanks!

Full, Extra Full or "Turkey" Chokes will all work fine. I use Remingtons turkey loads which combine #4 and #6 shot. You can use 4, 5 or 6 shot for turkeys. 5 is a good compromise if you don't want to buy dedicated turkey loads, or if they don't pattern well for you.

full will work. just curious, how close or far away do you engage the bird? that will determine the choke you really need.

With Turkey loads and tight chokes it is very important to pattern the gun with the load and choke you are going to use. The standard full choke may be OK for the distance. I have also seen an 870 shoot a little off when using the Extra Full chokes. Don't spend the extra money if your full choke gives a tight pattern. The biggest Gobbler I ever killed was with a Modified choke at about 10 yards. Best advice I can give is Pattern it and then decide what to use. 0
