    Here is a excellent link, that gves you some history of your pistol.

    Since your's is dated 1941, it was made for the Germans during their occupation of Norway.

    It appears you have a very desirable collectors piece IF it's in factory original, very good condition or better.

    I picked one of these up in 1967 when a local dealer got 6 of them in. I paid $60 for it and am still kicking myself for not buying them all. I have shot mine quite a bit over the years and it has always worked well. It is basically a 1911 Colt with an extended slide release. Mine is dated 1945 without any German markings. It should have diamond wood grips that are very dark and a loop on the magazine. The have serial numbers on about every piece. Mine is all matching numbers.
