Are Cz-52's worth owning if I can find one under $250??? I want to add another handgun to my collection but I've only been able to hide $250 from my wife.

Since you used the plural, "clips", properly called "magazines", and all of them that I've encountered have stiff springs, I'm guessing that your problem may lie in technique rather than an individual mag. Try sitting the base of the magazine on a firm surface like a table top or tree stump, and while holding the body of the mag. firmly with your weak hand use the strong hand to load with by placing the base of the cartridge just ahead of the feed lips, then pushing down and back to slide the cartridge beneath the feed lips until the cartridge's base is stopped by the back of the magazine. Do not try to force the cartridge into the mag. directly down through the feed lips. You should find working against the resistance offered by the table to make loading easier; although sometimes it may still be difficult to get the last round in.

I did not clearly state my problem,my complaint is that the magazines once loaded are very hard to load into gun and also very hard to remove after they are empty, hope that makes it clearer,THANKS AGAIN,PAUL

I think you may have a mag. problem. Are both equally hard to get in and out? Do you have the problem if the mag. is only partially loaded?

My 52 is a little stiff, but no where near what I would call hard to insert mags. or remove them.

Might want to get the pistol checked over.

Once you get by the mag. thing I thnk you'll enjoy the lil boomer, they are fun plinkers, and the 7.62x25 is quite a little hummer, and you can also get sabot 223 rounds ... no lie ... they ain't cheap but you can get 'em ... now why you would want to is another question.

If you only have time to do two things so-so, or one thing well ... do the one thing!
