I had some problems with mine...which started out as a .440 Corbon and has since been switched over to the .50AE. The problems that I was having (with the .50) were more the brass hitting me in the face and neck. It has since been fixed by Desert Eagle and is functioning perfectly...although I am not shooting it that well, b/c the brass issue got me a little gun shy[:I][:)]

The smaller calibers jam more than the large ones. Also,.s.the magazines must be factory mags.

My 50AE works very well,...I have no complaints.

why chase the game when the bullet can get em from here?....
    Got Balistics?

We had one as a range gun. The gun spent more time being repaired than it did being shot. I would never buy one.

Mine would be the last gun I sold if I had to start selling my handguns but I sure didn't buy it to shoot it.

mine never jammed. shot cloverleafs at 50 yds benched. at a buck a shot, its a pricey gun to own. you better wear a ballcap to protect your forehead. when the gun fires, the recoil sends it straight up and the brass ejects right into your forehead. i had many a bleeding forehead from hot brass pinging off of it.

I'll agree with the eating the brass the above guys mentioned, but then again it did it on all my desert eagles. As far as the .50, I've never had anything negative happen about with that cartridge that didn't happen with the others. I'll bet some of those at the gun club that are knocking it are either misinformed or scared of it. [B)]

avoid them at all costs. parts are mucho dinero and you will be needing them. Secondly, why would you want one? Too expensive to shoot regularly, poorly made, and isn't accurate.

    Just my opinion.

Natchez sells the ammo (325gr HP) for ~$14/20 rnds. That is about what it costs to shoot your average hunting rifle. Cost is relative to how many sources one has to find their ammunition at a reasonable price.

As for getting hit in the head by it,....I don't limp wrist mine,..so I can't lend any advice on that circumstance.

The ones made in isreal are of better quality,..and are by far one of the best Heavy Magnum semi-auto pistols available. The ones that fail,..have been shot with lead bullets and not cleaned properly. The gas tube is sensitive to debris,..so only copper jacketed ammo is recommended. Mine has YET to fail in any way.

I'll put mine against any wheelgun for accuracy at 50yds,...being of equal caliber/power. It has no competition from anything other than a Wildey.[8]
