savage 32 auto pistol
answer to my question posted 12/28/03. I picked up a very infomative book from the library, The Gun Digest Book of Firearms Assembly/Disassembly by J.B. Wood and this quote from the book says "The model designation of the Savage 32 and 380 pistols has long been a debated point. Using the date of the definitive patent, some call the gun the Model 1907. Others use the 1905 patent date that appears on the pistol, or the year it appeared on the market in quantity, 1910. I have always thought the year it began production was appropriate, and have called it the Model 1908."
This book has complete takedown instructions for 72 popular autoloaders plus 250 variants. Of course most of you guys probably already know about this book.
Free people own guns, enslaved people don't.
