    could i please get an opion on the Rossi mule eared sxs? i understand they have not been imported in years. i have a chance to buy one in like new condition for $200, good, bad?

    Like I said,"For What It's Worth",and I know many don't think GTG is worth the paper it's printed on,but it does seem to give more information than others,and the values it gives are usually right in there.And yes,supply and demand can make a difference.

    BTW,it did not show it to come in 20ga.But then again,it was the only "mule-eared" double listed,so your gun may be something different
    all together.

    IMHO,any SxS w/exposed hammers in "new" condition is worth $200 as long as it stays in that condition.

    BW, i totally agree on the book, we gotta have somethin ta go on, mine is marked rossi - the garcia corp, made in barzil. all blued, no engraving, very nice wood - funny tho, no gauge marked?

    I'm striking out here.All it shows under the Garcia Corp. is a couple of cheap soundin'.410s.One's a O/U w/.22 and the other's a singleshot.

    Maybe someone else can help since I don't have access to my other
    "books" right now.

    If it's the Rossi Coach Gun in like new cond.it's well worth $200.00.They are getting very hard to find.A lot of people don't know that Rossi is now owned by Taurus.

    A Rossi hammered double will easily bring over 300.00 here in Orygun if a cowboy shooter spots it.......375.00 if a 12 ga. coach gun.Even tho there' not imported anymroe they have a good rep and are desirable.
    Heck,I'd give 200.00 for a betater if it locked up solid and was shootable.!
