    I need help in taking the forend (wood pc.) off a Ithaca 49 22 cal. Saddle Gun.
    I've got a manual, but it doesn't give enough information. It could
    just be stuck. Help!!!

    Takedown.Calibers:22 short,Long,LR,22LR shot(smoothbore),22WRF.
    27-inch bbl.Weight:5 lbs.Sights:open rear,bead front.Plain pistol-grip
    stock(original model had grasping grooves in forearm).Made 1934-63


    And then there's ,

    Model 67 Boy's Rifle...........Nib $219 Ex $175 Gd $119
    Same as Standard Model 67,except has shorter stock,
    20-inch bbl.,weighs 4.25 lbs.
