Sar-1 Ak-47 or Cetme 308

I can't chose on what one to buy Both cost 290.00 the cetme has synthetic stock and 2-20rd mags and the Ak has fixed folding stock with 1-40rd mang and one 10rd mag. Each are in new condition. thanks for the help[:)]

  I'd go with the SAR-1. Your odds of getting a rifle that doesn't require any work to get it to function properly are way higher. CETME's have a reputation of hit or miss on reliability. You might get a good one, you might now. Do a search on them as that topic has come up before.

  The SAR will be more fun to shoot and the ammo for it is way cheaper than the .308 for the cetme. This makes the SAR a less expensive rifle. My 2 cents [8D]

  I would go with the sar1. As said above ammo is cheap and the ak is pretty reliable. I dont own one but the people I know that do really enjoy them.

  SAR-1,I have one and it is my favorite rifle out of what I have and have never regretted purchasing it.Good Rifle.

  LOVE MY SAR,THE CETME IS A PAIN TO CLEAN AND THE BOLT WILL WEAR OUT FAST,IT IS A PAIN TO ASSEMBLE AND DISASSEMBLE
