What is the value of Browning FDT #609?
I recently unpacked some boxes in my garage. I found three NIB Browning folding knives: FDT "Kodiak" Model # 609. Each box includes belt scabbard.
These have two locking blades. Locks are at midpoint of grip.
Blades are 3.25 inches. One is skinning blade. One is clip point. The clip point has serrations for about 1.00 inch near pivot pin.
Drop point blade has one-hand opener stud. Blades are black (Teflon??) coated. When I bought these, I recall them being advertised as having 440-C blade material, not AUS-8.
The knife I fiddled with operates very smoothly. I estimate the weight without scabbard at 4.5 ounces.
Before I posted, I checked Browning's web site. Two-bladed FDT's that are similar are without the serrations on clip point -- and strangely -- have the opener stud on the OTHER blade.
So, what do I have? And what is the value of each?
