OK, I give up....how the heck do you get the firing pin/spring out?

Star model B, 9mm

Got a new gun for my ex-wife.....pretty good trade, huh?

Drift out the rear sight and you'll discover a vertical pin beneath the sight in the dovetail channel that goes into the firing pin's tunnel and retains the pin by passing through a notch in its side. The retaining pin is usually removable with your fingers.

If I wasn't replacing the spring, I'd soak the slide and blow it out with canned air.[:(!]
