I am hoping someone can give me a answer on an encore forearm... I have a stainless Encore Pro Hunter with a 28 inch fluted Pro Hunter 30-06 barrel. The forearm is a Realtree Hardwoods camo for the Pro Hunter I believe the number to be a #7571. I am wanting to buy a 26 inch factory Encore 22-250 heavy barrel. The forearm for that barrel calls for a number 7701. Is the 7701 the same forearm as the 7571 without the rubber inserts, or do I have to buy the 7701 ???? thanks...

I don't think the grip will interchange, although the scope base holes are the same in the bases,if you look at the curvature of the bottom of the base you'll see it is a little different between the Encore base and the Contender base, but it still works, just my .02,Bob.

No, the grip angle is different. So is the angle between the Encore and the G2 and the G2 is also different from the Contender.

Barrels will cross between Contender and G2, but not between them and Encore.

Forends will work between Contender and G2 but the forend for the latter looks a little lame on a Contender. Never tried an Encore forend on a Contender, but I suspect the hole spacing may be different. At least it wouldn't suprise me and I've no Encores to experiment with.

If you only have time to do two things so-so, or one thing well ... do the one thing!
