.22 lr / .22 wmr

I am curious if there are any manufacturers out there that make a .22 caliber revolver (double action) with both the lr and wmr cylinders (other than Ruger and N. American Arms)? I have seen both the Ruger and NAA models, but was curious if anyone makes something similiar in double action? Thanks!

    At one time Smith&Wesson offered the M.51 [Blued] and 651[stainless] with both cylinders. No longer manufactured.Not sure of the years of introduction, but surely someone will stop by with more info.

    Heritage makes he dual cylinder guns but they are SA . There are none in DA being made now that I know of.

    I'm not sure the M-51 was factory produced with both cylinders, although there could have been some custom versions, same applies to the K-22.

    Only factory dual cyl. that I'm aware of is the 651 Kit Gun and the second cylinder for that revolver was almost as much as a complete new gun.

    Taurus does not catalog one.

    Dan Wesson ... maybe, but I don't keep up with their product line as I don't care for their guns.


    If you only have time to do two things so-so, or one thing well ... do the one thing!

    I HAVE A SMITH 651 WITH BOTH CYLINDERS LISTED ON THIS SITE.

    I WOULD RATHER BE DUCK HUNTING.

    M-48 is a 22 mag., but don't believe it was ever cataloged with the second (22lr) cylinder option. Maybe another custom job. To simplify all of this ... if cost was not a big deal you could probably get any of the 22 revolvers with cyliners chambered for both. Years ago I shot bullseye with a fella that had an N frame 22.

    If you only have time to do two things so-so, or one thing well ... do the one thing!
