Belium S x S

I just picked up a little hammer SxS. on the top of the rib is marked BELGIUM Laminated steel.on the plate is marked Quail Gun. under the fore arm is a crown with an L or T under it.Does anyone have an idea as to the origin and general value to this gun? Thanks in advance.

  I found a "Quail Gun" marked shotgun, in my references. But there's a disconnect somewhere as it's listed as being a Crescent Arms product, with "Twist Finished Barrels" ( Steel ) manufactured for Sears, in 44 shot chambering.
  
  The only inference I can make is that some of the guns were fitted with Damascus barrels that were imported from Belgium.
  
  Generally Damascus barreled shotguns have only value for decorative purposes ( Wallhangers ), because there unsafe to shoot. It yours is chambered for 44 Shot, there MIGHT be some collectors interest?

  I'd have to agree with 101 Airborne...Belguim Twist is a trade name coined in Belguim in the 1800's....Crown with the Letter is more than likely an Inhouse Proof...You neglected to give any discription of this gun...so, I'll assume that its in Fair Condition...and wither its hammerless or has Hammers....It won't be worth but $150.00 to $200.00......
