Scope mounts for a Browning A-bolt .223 WSSM

Can anyone direct me to an online distributor of Burris scope mounts for a Browning A-bolt .223 WSSM. I went to buy some today and the local shop does not have them in stock, and believe it or not they are backordered. Standard A-Bolt mounts will not fit. I just bought the gun and am anxious to get some lead in the air.

    I bought standard Burris 2 piece mounts and they don't fit. The screw holes on the back side are 3/8" longer on the mounts than they should be.

    I was just at Bass Pro tonight, and the WSSM's definately don't take standard A-Bolt mounts, they had none that would fit.

    One of the other post on here about the Browning WSM said where they got there bases

    You are right they dont fit,I would contact Burris by Phone
    and see what they have[V]

    I have a Browning A-Bolt in 270WSSM and I have standard burris mounts on it.

    The new WSSM 22 cal and 243 cal are different from the 270 .7mm and 300 WSM. The reciever and bolt are shorter , None of the base mfg. have put out one to fit as yet but they are coming. At present time you can use Weaver 2 pc bases , I dont have the number of the weaver 2 that will work but they are available. Call Weaver/Outers 800 phone line and their rep can tell you which 2 you need. Thats the only solution at present time.
