right rings for a #1, 30mm scope

I am planning to mount a Leupold 3-14X50mm LPS scope on a #1B in 22-250. I plan to use Ruger factory rings but would like to know if I need to order the 30mm blue rings in the medium (S-100RM-30mm) or high type (S-100RH-30mm). Can anyone help me out or have any experience? Thanks

  I would get the Leupold Made Ruger #1 Matte finish High Rings,
  I think that leupold makes a better Version of the Ruger Rings
  than Bill Himself........My opinion[;)]

  Medium will be very close. If doing alot of shooting in hot weather, high might be better picks up less barrel heat.
  For a better ring, try the newer Warne Maxima. Stronger, better looking, and finished inside better. Less chance of scratching the scope.
