Mauser to pistol cal?

I know it's probaly been asked before. But know I'm looking at a handful of mauser actions in my workshop. All are small ring. One is staying 7mm, one is becoming 243, and three are unknown. Now I'm looking at the whys/why nots on making one a 357mag/max. I have seen the kits for 7.62x39, any one heard of a 223?

  Bolt face, Extractor & Ejector going to need a lot of work. Magazine going to have to be blocked. Lots of tinkering required to get it to feed reliably.
