Manurhin .32 revolver
What's the popularity of a .32 Manurhin revolver, as new, in box? ie. what do you think they are worth? Thanks

Manurhin revolvers of any caliber are virtually unknown in the U S.
What few that were ever imported for commerical sale were the MR-73's, chambered for the .357/9mm.
Since there so few of the MR-32's , .32 S& W Long targets , available, there MIGHT be some collectors interest?

Excellent revolvers made to very high standards but with the limited importation which the Snowman has mentioned (along with very high prices) these revolvers do not enjoy much of a following here in the United States, although they are quite popular in Europe. Five or six years ago there were a large number of French police surplus Model 73 Gendarmerie models brought into this country but even then they were priced at nearly the cost of a new Colt Python! I don't see much collector interest in these revolvers, especially in .32 S&W, although they are interesting and wonderful to shoot. I would not hesitate to purchase an example if the price were right, but as a collector piece? I just don't see it.

As mentioned by others ... they are best know for the 357 M73.
They are well made but like the Korth they are overpriced and not widely know here in the US.
Accuracy is no better than a S&W or even a good Colt.
Two reasons I would not buy:
1.) Cost
2.) French Mfg.
Specific to reason number 2; I've participated in NATO and other military exercises w/ the French and I've traveled through France. Overall I just don't like them, probably a cultural thing, although most of the people I ment in the rural areas were very friendly and I did enjoy my time with them.
If you only have time to do two things so-so, or one thing well ... do the one thing!0 -
