cobray mag falls out
got a pm11/9mm it does not seem to have a mag catch, that is even by the directions i got with the gun it just says push the clip in firmly and to release it just pull it firmly downward .but on the first or second shot it will fall out, is it normal to have to hold the clip in when firing?thanks for the help. I would have to ask what kind of magazine you have. This same thing happened to me, as I recall, when using the South African steel mags. It was either those or the modified steel Madsen mags. Then again, I think I had some South American mags for the M11, maybe it was those.
It doesn't matter much which mags they were, bot the South African and South American were made for full auto M11s, the bolt would ride the top of the magazine and force it out. The bolt on the semi is, of course, different than the SMG bolt. I ground the tops down, only in the areas they were hitting, and they worked fine after that. I also got the magazine catch upgrade (beefier unit) about the same time. But I think that comes standard on the PM11, mine is an M11. Bottom line, it's either the bolt riding the top of the magazine or the mag catch.

i also have put the mag. catch upgrade on all my m-11's and it helps greatly...had the same problem with the south african mags..(steel) 0 -
Your PM-11 is a post ban gun, which doesn't have the same mag catch as a preban gun (m11/9) but rather a ball/detent arrangement that was supposed to keep users from using high capacity mags. Putting in a standard magazine catch on the pm-11 is altering the gun from its postban intent by atf..... but its up to you...
