trijicon night sights

I am impressed with trijicon night sights but have only seen them when they are new and glowing bright, My question would be--
Do they lose their brightness over time? I am told that they do and would like to hear from people who have had a set of these type of night sights for a longer period of time and what can I expect to see as far as deterioration to their brightness.

    Yes, ALL night sights deteriorate over time. They supposedly have a 10 year shelf life, but I've found them to still be more than bright enough for accurate sighting over the 10 year suggested timeframe.

    It matters not how many times you've been knocked down. What matters is how many times you've gotten back up.

    i have a set 14 years and going strong , but i have seen a set on a used gun that was real weak ,but i don't know their age

    I've had a set of Trijicons since '94. They're still glowing. They may have dimmed a little in ten years, but only if you hold them against a new set. I also had a set of PT night sights from IWI. They lasted about four years, and were BARELY visible. I called the company and was told to send them back for inspection, which I did. About two weeks later, I got them back. Package torn open (inspected I guess!) and returned with no message or explanation, let alone a warranty. All night sights are not equal!
