does any one know where to get a repair manual on these old breakover or solid frame revolvers? thanks,richard

  My older edition, ( 1993 ) of the "NRA Guide to Pistols and Revolvers" has a Illustrated Parts Breakdown and disassembly instructions for the H & R top-break revolvers.
  
  As this is a older edition, I don't know if the more recent editions still contain the H & R data.
  
  
  
  
  
  Just noticed that Brownells, www.brownells.com is selling "The Encyclopedia of Modern Firearms" in their catalog again.
  
  This was originally published in 1960 and contained the manufacturers shop manuals for almost all the principal U S firearms makers.
