Front sight on GP-100

Was hoping to get some suggestions on a problem I want to fix. Was wanting to blacken the front sight on my GP-100 fixed front sight. The gun is stainless and the black is wearing off pretty good from the front sight, wanting to blacken it to make more of a contrast with the fixed rear. Thanks
