Steyr M.95

What the heck is this thing? It's been stuffed up in my Grandpa's barn for years and he's not even sure where it came from.
It says Steyr M.95 on top of the action {is it a push bolt or semi?} with numbers on the side and a marking that looks like a K {not sure if it is a k or not}. What caliber is it? I can't find any markings that would say such. Can you guys help me out? Or direct me to where I can find out? Thanks for your help!

    It should be a straight pull bolt in 8x56R Steyr.

    Most were made at Budapest and one other arsenal I think.

    Search Steyr Mannlicher. Primary weapon of the Austro-Hungarian Empire.

    straight pull semi auto. Could be 8x50r though. I had one but gave it to one of my friends do to the $50.00 for 20 rounds factor. That was for 8x50r. Look around on the web for info. Have a gunsmith do a cast of the barrel to be sure about caliber if you have any doubt regarding the caliber. I remember that the markings on the reciever are the indicator of whether or not it was converted to the 8x56. But its been awhile and Im no longer 100% sure.

    THE GERMANS ALSO CONVERTED SOME OF THESE TO 8X57 MM, SUGEST YOU HAVE A GUNSMITH DO A CHAMBER CAST TO MAKE SURE.
