Winchester 1400 / Ted Williams 300 Barrel Swap

I have a Winchester Mod# 1400 12ga shotgun. I understand that the Ted Williams Mod # 300 is actualy the same shotgun, just produced under that name for Sears & Robuck. If this is the case will the barrels interchange? I have a chance to pick up another barrel that is from a Ted Williams Mod 300. The barrels appear to be exactly the same. Can anyone help me out with some info?

  Look at Numrich's web site under cross reference. It states that the Sears 300 is the same as the Winchester 1400. I'm guessing that the Ted Williams 300 is the same as the Sears 300.
