Romanian SKS?

  I like the Romanian SKS rifles. They are as good as any other SKS out there.

  How do they stack up against the Russian SKS's?
  
  Pack slow, fall stable, pull high, hit dead center.

  I think they are just as well built. I had one made in 1958, all milled parts, great bore and it shot flawlessly. Just be sure to take a good look at the rifle before you buy it. Check the bore, check that everything is tight. If the wood is crappy, it can always be replaced.

  I wasn't sure if a Romanian was equivalent to a Russian since Romania was once a part of the Soviet Union....I think.
  The Romanian sks that I shot was very accurate but the Wolf ammo tended to get jammed up every now and then,I think,because it had one of those rubber inserts behind the bolt spring....if you know what I'm referring to.I have not shot it without the rubber piece yet,that may solve the problem.
