Remington 541T & S
I have 2 rem 541 T and 1 rem 541 T curly maple all new still in box and also a rem 541 S new still in the box Trying to figure out what these are worth to put insurance on my collection of firearms

541-S is the only one that my database shows...New in the Box $425.00

Got a 541-T in H.B. and Sporter myself. You can use the $425 "Book" value, for that "S" and tell me where to send the check! I search the "SOLD" listings of Gun Broker and find $550 to $600 more realistic value for them.
Remington just had a write-up in the NRA Magazines for their new 22 bolt action. Cheaper to build they say. List price over $700. Styled like a beer can with a bolt.
Closest thing to the 541 models in quality is a Kimber Super America, at well over $1000. What we have is akin to the pre and post 64 Winchester rifles. Everyone knows how much better the new guns are, right?

At$425.00 for a 541S, ill take one please. Last few ones ive seen around here went for 550-600 for just average condition....saw one sell here lately in pristine shape with box, 675 0 -
