The only fault that I know of is that the last round some times fails to chamber in the original LEO models. Most publications I have read gave the AR 9mm thumbs up. I have owned two. The orginal Colt with the blocked mag well and an Olympic arms with the well adaptor. They both worked very well for me and I did not experience the issue spoke of in some gun magazines with the last round not chambering. I still own a 9mm carbine it is just not an AR type.

Tommy15. There is no other. 100% guaranteed to function for life. None of this "tweaking" required by other setups.

used them all the time. work great. i prefer the 45acp version myself. the 9mm's can sometimes be akward to load since the mag well is a little smaller than the 223, but other than that...they seem to be ok. one must remember that this set up is a pistol round in a rifle. youll never get the performance of a 223 rifle design out of a 9mm set up. they were always liked for the ability to have one type round in all arms per squad. i had many leos try to impress me at police ranges when theyd pull em out, but they all were humbled when i'd pull out the 45acp shorty. (better accuracy)
