Kimber Hi-Cap

I have a question about the Kimber BP Ten pistol. It is the Kimber Hi-cap. Does it and the other Kimber Hi-cap's use Para-Ord magazines? Thank you for your help.

A friend of mine owns a pawn shop, a year or so ago he had a Para, my Kimber 14 round mags wouldn't lock up in it when properly seated, nor would his Para mags lock up in my Stainless Polymer ... If I remember correctly the latch holes were just slightly off, overlapping but not quite the same ... I could have modifed them to fit the Para, but them the wouldn't seat/lock in my Kimber ...

In direct answer to your question, NO, they will not fit the Kimber pistols. I bought my first hi-cap Kimber several years ago (stainless polymer target), and the dealer told me they would accept para mags. Having several P-14s I went straight home and found by trying them they will not lock in. I have purchased some inexpensive Megar 10rnd mags & with a small amount of file work, they can be made to fit. 0 -
