Titanium firing pin in AR-15
I know that a titanium firing will help keep from getting thoses little dents in the primers of nonmilitary primers while a round is loaded in the chamber.
But how is it to durability?
Not that it is corrosion resistant, but as to it becoming soft and not holding its proper length and not hitting the primers after extended use.
Will the lighter pin cause misfires on the harder military primers?

I don't know about type of weapon youre talking about using one in, but I've had two ti firing pins fail on me in my 1911's. The hammer end mushroomed on one and stuck in the pin stop, on the other shattered towards the chamber end. It was explained to me that the top 1% of competition shooters need the extra 1/100th of a second knocked off of their lock-up time in a match and thats what the light weight titanium pins give them. Us mere mortals should stick to steel.
