300 ultra mag recoil?

Looking for info. on the most effective recoil reduction other than a muzzel brake as in pads ect.

  I fitted a Kick-eez pad on my 375 H&H model 70, I really like it. Any other big guns that I ever own will be fitted with the same. If I remember right it ran about $25.

  you can install a recoil reducer in the stock. these are about 45.00 simple installation. + put a triple mag pad on it. i've fired a 300 um and i dont think they are punishing at all however, recoil is a relative thing

  Sims Limbsaver. Excellent recoil pad. Put one on my Warbird and it made a major improvement.

  The Sims Limbsaver is truly a great pad for your rifle. It can be used in conjunction with the recoil reducers that are put into the buttstock. I have included a link for recoil shields that are strapped onto your shoulder and fit between the stock and your shoulder. The problem here is that you need to adjust the length of pull to account for the shield, as it adds thickness. However, I find that the addition length increases my comfort when shooting rifles with significant recoil.
