Law changes for new year?

I was in a local gun shop last weekend looking at a Bushmaster AR-15. When talking to the owner, he informed that the laws will be changing in regards to assault weapons after the first of the year, I think he said all black weapons will no longer be available because of homeland security policies? I have not been able to find any information regarding this? Has anyone heard anything or have any links?

  Maybe your right, sounds like he may have been just doing a sales pitch. I'm gonna kick back and wait and see what happens.....
