Glock Pre-Ban Magazines?
What's the deal with these hi capacity Glock magazines for sale on GB? There are a bunch in the $50-60 range. But the metal liner doesn't look right. (Item #14731610 for example) My older mags are like the ones on the left. And see how the metal liner is different in the right mag for sale here? I don't mean to imply this seller, or any of the others is up to anything. And I didn't ask him my question. Figured you guys would give me a better answer and more fun too!

Maybe this will explain the differences:

Thanks guys! [:)] So all the full lined magazines are drop free? 0 -
Yes... Just to clarify, some people think drop free means they can be dropped on the ground. This is NOT the case, they don't expand enough to lodge in the magwell like a loaded NFML version does. I personally don't care at the least about the FML over the NFML versions. A quick pull up on the gun upon hitting the mag release and the mag will slide right out. Of course, empties will slide out the same either way.
It matters not how many times you've been knocked down. What matters is how many times you've gotten back up.0 -
Yep, and it was my understanding that the magazunes were originally designed NOT to drop free. Americans just aren't used to that! 0
