Wilson "look-a-likes"

I have an opportunity to purchase a 45 advertised as a Wilson, but is actually a "look-a-like." The gun was made by Sam Dunham, of Wilson's Combat, from Wilson parts. The gun resembles a CQB, without the Wilson markings on the slide.

I see what appears to be a similiar gun on today's auction. Are these legit? Are they common? Value? What would be the drawbacks of purchasing (besides warranty)?

  i have seen them as well
  
  while they very well could be wilson frame,slide and components
  Wilson does sell these parts ,their slides are made not engraved on purpose,
  So no one can buy the parts put them together as Wilson and sell them ,part of the value of a Wilson handgun is how it was put together ,I would stay away from anything like them ,Wilson has a lifetime policy ,these guns do not ,and the resale value would be hard to obtain ,go that extra mile get a real Wilson you will not regret it
