thompson center hawken,broke it
Need a frizzen spring for a 50 cal hawken flintlock, right hand, does anyone sell this part over the net or do I need to call thompson center,(they don't have an email service) tried rubber bands to hold frizzen, they burn. thanks, grizz. GUN CONTROL MEANS USING BOTH HANDS.

I haven't seen them on any of the sites I frequent, but I don't do BP yet. I'd just get it from T/C and avoid the headaches.[:D]

Contact Thompson for their repair address and send it to them. TCs are garenteed for life. One of our 4-H kids broke the fly in his TC Hawken caplock and when his father contacted TC they had him ship the lock to their repair shop and it was returned by over night within 2 days after they received it, in time for the kid to use it in competition. No charge! You probably will not get it back that fast unless you tell them it is for your kid and 4-H shooting sports competition![:D] They do support 4-H shooting sports a lot! They have great customer service.

I'd contact them directly about this, I agree with some of the others that there's a good chance it won't cost you anything.

...same here, had a hair trigger problem with my .45cal flint. Sent them the lock after a call, had it back in 7 days, fixed no questions asked. Not bad for a weapon I bought new in 1976!
