Tactical vest advice

Could anyone here point me to a forum or site where I can learn more about what to look for in a tactical vest? Also maybe give some name brand/style recommendations and things to look for.

Is it possible to get a durable, quality tact vest for under a $100?

  When you say Tac Vest, what kind are you talking about.
  
  There are many different setups for different uses.
  
  As for a 100 and wanting serious quality, no way, no how. Gear used for serious business and training will cost you a few hundred but you will know why once you put a cheapy through some abuse. They will rip, tear and break.
