Ruger 22 mag only

I have just picked up a Ruger single six in 22 mag only. And I was wondering if anybody has seen what the going price for these guns realy is. I think the blue book is off on this one. The gun is about 95%

    $200--- 225 if its a new model closer to 300 if its the old 3 screw

    Nice gun. Long story short. If it's 95% +, collector value. XR3 $400, XR3 with the eagle logo on the barrel address $435. Factory grips are either black plastic with black eagles, or gloss walnuts with black eagles. With original lock work, no factory safety update (transfer bar).

    Thanks for the reply 2xbyu. That is what I was thinking. It has no Barrel logo and has wood black eagle grips # 317xxx. And it takes the head off a grouse no problem.

    if you can get 400 plus out of a shooter grade 3 screw , I would like to see the auction where you do it at , matter of fact I would like to see the auction where you can get 400 plus out of a 95% gun ,, you might get lucky and get that much out of one that is still unfired in the correct box with all the papers .. if I'm wrong please show me some links to auctions where they have brought that kind of money

    gskyhawk, can't argue with you on a shooter grade gun, except that you might be a little high in value.

    Collector value on a 95% + Ruger, Old Model, Magnum Single-Six with out the logo on the barrel is $400. Manufactured 1959-1962 only.

    The average buyer won't pay the money for a .22, but a Ruger collector will.

    This bottom one dosn't even have the original grips, an additional $75-$100.

    Not to many sell at these prices, manny manny more sell at the shooter price.

    I wouldn't pay $5,000 - $100,000 for a rusty Winchester, but a collector will.

    not tring to start a fight but in the first place he should have said it was a old model 3 screw , his dis. left it wide open to what he was looking for,

    ok but only 1 out of the 3 you listed where what we where talking about
    the 1st one is the 9 1/2" and god know those do go high but thats only because there was so few made
    the 2nd is a flat gate
    the 3rd was what was being discussed
    the 4th is stated as nickel

    but you are right on one thing people will pay tons for the right gun for their collection
