saw one at a local shop and it was cheaper than buying a new walther ppks...anyone know anything about them and its worth pickin up?

The HK4 was a wonderful little pistol in its day. Unfortunately, that day has passed. You can find the general prices by doing a search on GB. You will find that the prices cluster around $400, but there are some, especially with the Worchester Mass, address for which some HK collectors are willing to pay a premium. Another point to keep in mind is that the .380 version was rather under engineered and HK does not recommend shooting this version. The .32 and the .22 versions are fine, but the .380 should be considered largely a collectors piece. Best of luck -- Steve
