    That's about average price for a used black oxide finish .44 Mag DE. Did he specify what finish the gun had (ie. brushed chrome, nickel, 24K gold)?

    even at the standard blue finish,..$800 is a fair price for a desert eagle.

    why chase the game when the bullet can get em from here?....

    Anyone have first hand experience on how they shoot? Are they fairly easy to sell?

    From what I've seen they do jam often and the casing ejects right into your head...but coulda just been the ones I've seen.

    Actually, they function really well, but they require hotter ammo than most guns. The casings flying at your head, yeah they do that[:o)] If you have a weak grip on the gun it will twist a little causing the casing to fly at your face rather than high and over your right shoulder

    I had a 44 and currently own a 357. I like them fine! To each his own.Sure there heavy/ But with Fiochi ammo, the 357 functions like a dream and I can actually hit something....imo..nambu

    I own the .50AE Desert Eagle and it shoots just fine and I have rarely had a misfire or jamming since I've owned it. $800 seems like a good price for a like new gun.

    I've had mine for a number of years and don't recall much if any malfunctions. They definately are large and heavy, have a large grip that makes it difficult for small handed shooters, and are supposed to shoot the more toasty and always jacketed ammo. $800 is the general ball park for used guns, so if this ends up shot little and a bonus of different finish than blue, definately a fair price. You can shoot these until your pocket book can't stand it. Recoil is nill. There are also about three different 'era's' or types, each different enough that some parts(barrels, ect.) don't interchange among the models. Hell on tough and reasonably accurate, some more than others and also the shooter makes a difference.
