Redfield Scope

yes can some body tell me,when ajusting your sights ,does the knob's click or do they have a smooth turn.the elevation turret's

  Need a scope for a tikka t3 30/06. Found a good deal on a redfield 3x9x50 or a 4x12x40. These good scopes? Going on my hunting gun . Can pick one up for about 120-140 depending on model. Good? Thanks!

  While I have never owned a Redfield scope, I believe that they are part of the same group that owns Simmons and Weaver. I have in the past had scopes of those two makes break and have had to send them back. Weaver and Simmons, and I believe Redfield, have a no reciept needed replacement/repair waranty for all their products. So send it back and they will probably send you a new scope that is comparable to your old one.

  i don't think it is broke. it works fine, i just doesnt click, just turns.
  
  I'm not an expert, but i did stay in a Holiday Inn Express last night.

  That is the way some scopes work...I myself like the non clicking ones...You still are adjusting it as you would with the clicks..

  That is what is commonly known as a "friction knob". Many scopes are like that(especially older ones). The adjustments aren't supposed to click..........................[8D]
