WINCHESTER MODEL 25

Does anyone know what a winchester model 25 in 95% condition is worth, it is a 12 ga.28 inch full choke barrel.it looks like a model 12,what does not a take down model mean,the barrel wont come off? thanks bridgebuilder41

    what is the difference in the model 25 and the model 12 winchester.they look alot alike.i know they want more for a model 12.is the model 25 just as good as the model 12.thanks bridgebuilder41

    on the m-12, you can remove the barrel from the receiver, thus a 'takedown' version of a gun.

    Hello bridgebuilder: Well the Md 25 was made from 1949 to 1954, they all came with a 28 in. barrel, with either a Full, Mod. or Imp/Cyl choke. They are a "solid frame gun" meaning it's not suppose to breakdown. In 95% condition $300-$400 on any given day. Winchester came out with this model to try to capture the "cheaper" shot gun market. The barrel choke was the only option offered. They sold for about $20. less than a Md 12.
