    Gunkeeper -

I'm going to break this to as gently as possible, but it would appear that almost everything you know... You don't know.

20 ga. is unlikely for a police department. My notes and memory refer to Enders as a Belgian gun, not a domestic. ELG proofs should be found under the barrels if I'm correct.

You don't share with us anything about condition, nor do you tell us whether hammered or hammerless. I somewhat suspect damascus construction if a Belgian. And, pray tell, what ties this gun to the Chicago police?

    B.

    P.S. -

I did some more checking. It may be a Crescent offering, but there was never mention of Stevens. Some confusion because Enders was followed by a variety of names... Royal, Special, etc.

I still lean toward damascus tubes, but you'll find no proofs if domestic. This is simply a trade gun and unless it was used in the St. Valentines Day Massacre, it won't bring more than perhaps $200.00.
