Need Firing pin for Raven Arms
I assume that you all have the same types of problems. A co-worker asked me about trying to find a firing pin for a .25 Raven Arms pistol. I asked about the model or a model number and he said that he couldn't find anything stamped on it. Does anyone know of a site or company that I could put him intouch with to help him out? I do have the serial number if that would help.

I had a STONG feeling that this was on the POS side of things. I was going to talk to him today and see what he wants to to. I had a guy that wanted to trade me a "Bryco" handgun. After TRYING to shoot it to see how it did, I had so many problems with just one magazine, I told the guy to get lost. I couldn't believe how bad it was and I think this gun is in that same class.

He is supposed to bring it in for me to look at tomorrow to see if I can identify it more. I hope to then figure out what he plans to do with it. I told him of most peoples opinions from here. He said that it didn't surprise him.

Never liked the Raven Arms, but in years past my store in FL sold hundreds of these pistols. They look and feel cheap ($59.95), and they are cheaply made but they do (did) function very well for what they were. Repairs were cheap and fast and generally the main problem with the gun was the recoil spring. Shoot a box of shells, the spring would compress, and the gun would jam. Disassemble - stretch the spring - and you'd be good for another 50 rounds (Don't know why anyone would want to shoot 50 rounds in that gun - oh well, to each his own). In the mid 80's we were selling firing pins for $8 - so $10 today sounds pretty fair. Good luck! 0
