Colt experts???

Hey gang...
Got a friend who just inherited a Colt Agent .38 with pearl (fake) handles, in 95%+ condition. Ser # 78324. Any guess as to year of mfg and value??

  Does this pistol have an aluminum frame? My serial number book shows a LW suffex or a letter in all of the serial nos. of Agent models.

  There were no letters after the ser#. I inspected again to be sure, but only #'s. I found a reference to "LW", but this one doesn't have an ejector shroud. To me, it didn't look or feel like aluminum, but may be. Definitely a pretty piece. Hardly a drag line on it.
