Rossi Model 27, .38 spec.

I cannot find value info on a Rossi Model 27 .38 special, 5 shot revolver, which is the 2" barrel version of Model 31 based on the owner's manual listing the models 27, 31 and 32. Gun is in mint condition with velvetine lined box with owner's manual. The current blue book of Gun Values only lists the Model 31. Should I be using the model 31 value of $120.00 for 100%?

  Rossi is one of those firms that some people like to denigrate because they're not Colts or S&W, therefore, the value of their guns varies widely depending on whom is asked.
  My best guess would be around $250, since that's what I sold my Rossi 971 in 38special for.

  Yes, the values are going to be very close to the Model 31 with perhaps a bit more $$ for the 2" barrel. The older Rossi guns are a completely different animal than current production. The old ones are nowhere nearly as well made, and do not command the dollars that current Rossi guns will.

  imho,if ur buying that is a great price.
  If selling,i'd ask about double that .should easily be worth twice the 'book' guesstimate.

  Nothing wrong with a Rossi for those on a budget. I'd call $120.00 way too cheap...but I'd snatch one up at that price in a heartbeat.
