loose triger on m44 mosin nagant
what would couse a loose triger on a m44 nagant.. when its cocked and ready to fire the triger is realy loose to the point were it will come almost all the way back on its own. only about a 1/4 inch pull left. i checked it agenst my other nagant thinking that was just the way they were. the other nagant is a little lose but only about 1/2 play in it..

take the rifle all the way down,..and make sure all the screws are tight and did not wiggle free,..and that the pin holding the trigger is still there doing what it is suppose to do.

one thing i did notice is that when i took to apart that the pin holding the trigger in is kinda loose.. when you wiggle the trigger it will work its way out..i found a trigger kit for the nagants do you think it would help to just put a new kit in it... how hard would that be i havnt taken it down to the point of taking the trigger out do i need any special tools or is it a pretty easy job to do... 0 -
Yeah, my Mosin-Nangent has a loose trigger also. Yet it shot fine last time I was out. I probably should take a closer look at it. I just assumed it was a rough milsurp gun. 0
