Columbian Revolver

need help on identifying a piece i picked up at an estate sell. double action revolver marked The New York Arms Company across top strap with Columbian underneath. Pat. Date Jan.20.91- No serial #. 6" barrel with what appears to be a black nickel finish. frame looks to have had the same finish at one time. hard rubber small grips. Is this a .32 S&W? any info or help, would be grateful.

  The only thing I Show in my Database is NEW YORK ARMS COMPANY--Trade name used by Garnet Carter Company of Chattaooga, Tennessee on Shotguns made by Crescent Fire Arms Company.........

  the names 'columbian''columbia armory''columbian double action' were used by 'Foehl & Weeks of Philadelphia' between 1880s and 1900. the book pistols of the world list this model as being available in both 38 (large frame)and 32 (small frame). and a hammerless top break version model called "Perfect". these revolvers don't show up often so production must have been low. i believe i have a copy of the patent but not handy (would have to dig it out of my non iver johnson and & h&r patents).
  
  serial number is mostly likely under the grips.
